"Austin, March 29, Saturday, Had myself investigated by Robert Spearman, and he said I had nothing especially to fear. I called on him be- ause during the latter part of the night I had a little fever. Listened to the Salt Dome papers. Olson was very cautious in finally de Sigen stated Harris theory of salt crystallization, (2) Plcanic theory and (3) Tectonic causes. The opinion I reg mine that salt beds exist beneath the Crastal Plain and that those due to Tectonic causes have risen into Cenical domes. I pointed out that in theory on the subject they should not found the high points in geological bed. That they were times of salt analysis and times of tectonic movement. I also said that I did not believe them in any Permian (Permin) salt beneath the domes. His point of Comanche gas.
