I am at 70 and all appeared to be much interested. It was a good audience to lecture to. Professor Glasscock also attended. Prof. Hidden introduced me and as well Professor Simmons. The latter writing a book on the Physiography of Ohio. Austin March 26-1924, Tuesday. Packed up and left Austin on Southern Pacific for Houston at 12:35. Set for Houston at 6:20 P.M. Put up at Rice Hotel. Houston, March 27-1924 Thursday. Attended meeting of the Amer. Assoc. of Pet. Geologist, in the afternoon presented my paper on the Value of clay and minute fossils in out- shore stratigraphy.
