Ithaca, N.Y. Monday Dec 29-1934 At 9 A.M. the Gr. SVA starts its meetings. Jores asked to read Hurkes Memorial of Sir Archibald Leicis. S.O. Smith spoke on firemen in Alaska Ports. J.C White for John J. Sterensm. And then there were others. In the afternoon attended the Pal. Doc. meeting Hand lands of T.C. Chambu lin. In the evening listened to Lindgrens Ad- dres on Metasomatism. Then attended the smoker. During the smoker we all learned that Chambula coming out of the Baker Lab. had fallen on the stairs and was considerably hurt about the hip. In the morning he is to be X-rayed to see if bones are broken. Poor man, nearly blind and 83 years old.
