Feb. 1 - 1925 - Sunday. Spent the morning meeting at the place of yesterday. Al[illegible] and Berta went S.E. to see what they found there, are and found the - Paero Pennsylvanian. Had lunch at Drinckleman's at 1.30 and at 2.15 we are off for Tuesm. last to the latter at 6.30 P.M. Feb. 8-1925 - Sunday A large party of students led by Dr. Agres, and including Rausome, Lorensy and myself started at 8.A.M. for the Santa Rita Mts, about 5 to 60 miles south of Tucson. Our place was in the foothills on the eastern side of the Santa Rita Mts, at an abandoned Onyx Mine and Cave, in Sawmill Canyon. Here there is a thick series (6000') of reddish sh. and s. of Comanche age
