Clifton 11 Mrdoc, li = Orinimippian. About 170 futy coarse hue gray li, with some quart zite and dolomite. Very restricted in out- crop = one sq. mile. Small areas on top of Huff's day area north of Clifton. Others in Mrdoc Mt near Mrenei, due west side of Mrenei Canyon. Cap of Thaunm Mt. Best section - from the summit of a high li. point 14 miles south of Mrdoc Mt down toward Chase Creek, section goes down here to the Coronado and granite. Blue coarse, frm. li. in 2-3 thick lenda. 4'-10' Light-gray coarse li with erminis stems 75-85 Light grayish-brown litho - li. 60 White or reddish col. quart zite 15-17 Menire gray coralliferm li. 8-10 ------------------------------------------- 162-182 Fossiliferous, thin grnt. Chlipidomella michelini ? Spirifus centumotus, Seminula hemilde ?, Spirifu portesi, S. near Kerhull, Offisiferina, Monatrocrinus, Platyerinus, Menophyllum, Lithostrotia ? Tule Spring li. = Pennsylvanian Thick-bedded light-gray li. in southern part of Clifton quad. only. Says no more of it. Thickness 300' Has Orin. telas (250') and Penn. prostrate (300')
