Grand Canyon, Friday, April 17-1925 Spent a part of the morning walking over 2 miles to Hopi Point, where I again took 3 photos. In an hour watched Artist Grid form of Stockholm, Sweden painting two temples to the north of Bright Angel Creek. His work appears to me somewhat sketchy and uses too much blue. He tells me that he is using far less blue than ever before. During 1924 he painted here for 8 months. I judge he does about 2 or 3 pictures as a well and wants from $50 to $200 dollars a piece. Then returned to my room and packed the tree of prints. Shipped by Parcel Post weighed #3.460 charges. At 7.30 A.M. saw Stoganner and Delber M. They go via Williams, Prescott, Phoenix and Tucson. Will get home sometime Sunday. It is a cold windy day. Bilmes day of anyodther track last winter on the Hermit trail. At the National Park Office I was told that 9 kinds of tracks occur here, and that they are known almost everywhere where the Cocos-nutr sandstone is well exposed. They have one example at the office building. Mr. Aiken is here.
