remnant of the Titanic. He tried to reach it, but eventually found out that one had to go about 30 miles around to the south to get to it finally in the north. Took 8 photos in the morning and late afternoon at Navajo Point. Finally visited on the return trip Pinal Point which is not far to the S-W of Navajo Point. Grand Canyon, Monday April 13-1925 Started away at 7.30 A.M. fn Bass Ranch, 25- miles to the north or down the Colorado River. This place ones closed and no one had been over the "dirt road" for months. The roads are all washed out and we had a hard time getting over them. At different times we thought we were going crazy and came near firing up. Finally at 12 o'clock we arrived at Bass' Camp. As we could not put in more than three hours I con- cluded to head for Kaibab trails about one-half mile to the S-E of the Camps on the easting out of the dell. Trails were good and traveled there.
