Skimarems bright red sandstone that is also slightly
conglomeratic. Has red calc edony or silicified coral.
Estimated thickness seen on northern slope to be at
least 75 feet. See the two samples.
Conglomerated slope 150 feet.
Chorentopia is only a sandstone somewhat conglomerated
light red in color, or rather grayish red. 25 feet.
Grey sandstone 2'
Redly sandstone as above 7 feet
Thick conglomerated sandst. as before, slightly red 3 of feet.
Crm redded orange white ss. 8 feet.
Redly ss as above, passing below into a long rounded
slope. About 100 feet.
This makes the Chorentopia at least 322 and
it may be 422 or even 480 as little goes it
for Cedar Mountain (see p. 42).
Saw nothing in the solid test of an organic nature.
About one mile north of Red Butte appeared
the Aspen habitat. Examined it at several places,
and always saw birchle, Schizopodes, Pleuro-
thonus and other forms. It is a whitish dry
fine grained mixture distinct that occurs out
in places much chest.
