Quartzite schists. Granite cuts the Pinal. Almost always undulati the Paleogric. A normal granite. Coronado quartzite, 200' There is a basal engl. 0-50' but often absent, rest quartzite. Strong red pind in maroon. Still from 2 miles north of Morenci. North of Morenci Canyon, on left, Ordovician on right, faulted down. West in Chase Creek, uplifted near Longfellow incline, has capped by Ord. 2 miles S.W. of Morenci the following section: White quartzite 50' Banded, pind & maroon quartzite m. Blopp. 162 Quartzitic engl. 10 Sandstone 3 Quartzitic engl. Petks up to 7 inch 8 Crazed sandstone at base 10 --- 243 Criths p.m. older rocks, thrusts outy Pinal. No granite pieces. Engl.
