[Sample ECS-90-37 slightly col. mudstone - (not so good for pollen)] #51 Unit #61 2.6m Med gr ss w/wrp-up clay, ripple bedded, usl carb. mat. on b.o.s. light tan colour on fresh mudst. 25-30cm thick, at base separated by mudstone and siltstone interbeds up to 10cm. Burrowed heavily - OXIC. Upper 1m Becomes ripple to planar bedded to top, with some v. fine laminations of mudstone and carb mat. Laminas 2-4 per 2mm.
