Saw pre-roost mounting (A to B, B to A, then A to B) Roosty 1800-1810. 17 Mar 0520 ACW's active 0830 hotel birds are working on a hole in hotel tree I've been laid up by Food poisoning (+ alt sickness?) so not much data today 1500 Watching Bluff group. No one visited my suspected granary limb. I thought I saw a bird go to a hole in a big fat snag vase @ 1/2 way up -> 1330 Just saw a bird fly from Bluff to Hotel Birds are going to (+ entering) the above hole repeatedly 1340 I'm pretty sure I just saw a bird tossing chips From this hole - : still under construction ? 1343 Just saw a bird fly from Bluff to ravine. There's quite a bit of karriting here. Also, I think I'm seeing more ground Foraging - the birds sit low (10') on tree trunks, then drop (I couldn't tell if they were landing) These birds wake very little (most vocalizations are karrits) Alarm call similar. 1357 Watching fruiting tree at curve. Lots of birds here - can't say for sure whether its > 1 group (esp since there's quite a bit of chasing) I watched a bird peck at an acorn (much larger than its head) they all are) for @ 1 min,
