Dec 87 Acorn Count: 1000 8 Apr 1030 Bird flushed From the high NW hole. Yuk 10 May 1000 Walt climbs high hole, Finds 6 babies, 5 alive + one 39.8 (11.8) dead. This was the largest baby. It had no external injuries and appeared to have been healthy when it died. It seemed almost too fresh to blame on the hail storm. 21 Jun Jane reports 9 in nest hole. 22 Jun I hello hole twice this afternoon - no one home. 28 Jun 1700 9 in hole. Wow.
