Formicivorus CV2 HNHR (19 Jun) I think there was a CVZ Annex and that's the one we followed, 1372 + 1373 were seen at the original CVZ nest (a 3 egg : 1 4). 21 Jun 1415-1530 Spied hoping to get a 2nd nest. Twice a bird flew to the "creek", I checked it out and found a so-so hole + watched it awhile. Mostly just dead here. 23 Jun 0915 Saw a banded jiv RWDP by box 98, but he (actually, it had a 4 Forehead!) didn't match anyone! Ah ha, me thinks was Must 1485 BP-w/KP(?) . Also this would explain Forehead 29 Jun 1000-1015 Spied on CVZ. They were hanging out in the granary and I saw no Forays in any direction 3 Jly 0926-0930 Watched CVZ - nada. 9 Jly Roosted in a hole in a rotten limb on the downhill side of the Holy Tree. 12 July 0630 checked out the hole - No good - it has no bottom. It fell off so it's an open cylinder. [illegible] Rotten 7 Sept Roost watch. Went into 12 July hole. (Before this, at 1937 I heard an ACW get killed.) 16 Nov I plugged the bottom of the hole with screen 6 Dec Acorn count: From W: 3500 ~ [illegible] 10,000 15 Dec " E: 3400 saw NOBA 8 (5319), NOBA 9 (5320), and T CB.Kla < maybe Row The latter bird doesn't fit in CVZ or CVZA, but it was sitting peacefully.
