UNIT NO 3 Thick 50 ft Des med gr rounded well sanded ortho quartzite no fids spa (50) shale split in middle undulate upper + lower 4. 150 ft black shale with (at base) 100ft occasional coals and 54ft 15-20cm sandy split some brown streak (304) pollen sample 8540 cm at book 5 40 ft ss yellow brown med grain orthoguanite 50 ft. greenish stain on bedding surface (again mosquito 4.5 meters mud.. subrounded to round beds 5-15ft thick (103) 3 major beds each about 8-10m thick 5-5-8 with interbedded dark gray shale except the upper split is a 4 1/2 meta coal.
