7/11/79 7250 Cntd. In Siderite since. now altered to CLAY IRONSTONE + 7 Conifer Ironwiss or limb sections w/ growth rings from 1203 m From 50 to 100 m above & 40 m below WEST 799-1-1 Vert. Site Metasequoia Glyptostrobus (Cone scale) Cetroid; phylum 2 sp large hemimedul? Entire fragment, 3 in, pine etc. (Ht?) Monocots Fossils occur. Occur in clay ironstone impregnated ss just above coal beds. ss consists of thin interbedded w/ ss x carb sh. in repetitive sequence SS, friable, med to fg, light grey to lime/ore buff stained.
