Monday Aug 17 for the White
Mts. Left at 9.20 A.M. and
arrived at Crawford House
at 6.15 P.M. A sunny hot
day.
Tuesday (18) fine, clear and
cool. Climbed Mt. Willard from
1900' above sea level to 2786'
Fine view looking E towards the Hotel
to Chokomona.
Wednesday (19) rested.
Thursday (20) walked S on a
clear cool morning 2 1/2 miles to see
the Presidential Range and the Rock
R R going up Mt. Washington. Did
5 and the morning.
Friday (21) climbed Mt Willard
again and this time easier. While
at the top train came on Glen's Hill,
stayed after another, and as I went
down met Prof. Litchell and his family
ladies. In car about 24.
