carefully worked over when I lay up the Williamson skeleton. Blair Springs to The Rocks. Oct 26 - 1896, Monday. Left Blair Springs at 7.00 - on Cofferville. Passed through the latter place at 10.30, and reached Mrs. Wm. M. Ritch's house near Dead Level P.O. about 4.0 p.m. Looked over some fields near his house and stopped with him for night. Much of the land around "The Rocks" formerly belonged to Judge [illegible] Creak, on which Rock collected, and Spence & Co. enjoyed a colored boy to show me all the grain land in the vicinity.
