"In the afternoon attended to drying
plants and getting ready to go in the
morning to Cocoa P.O., Biegle came
in good shape. Two dollar charges out
for taking me to the two mines.
"Oct 13-1896 Tuesday
Started at 8 A.M. for Cocoa P.O.
reaching there at noon. In the afternoon
attended to drying and collecting plants.
Oct 14-1896 Wednesday,
started on my wheel for Mr
Torices farm about 5 miles south
last of Cocoa. Found the wheel
of little assistance due to the pine
and very soft grade. Located no
bore of any value.
