Engaged a rig and drove to that place. 9/10 of the stones fence are of granite the balance red sandstone apparently drifted here from Benmore or of that region. Not a trace of a fort to be seen. The natives could give me no assistance and I failed to find such forest as one collects here by Centree Left in the evening for Milwaukee.
