Palaeovert 2' C Bluish gray ss et sh. 45' d Covered Bar 855' Dr 14th April 7-1905 S A Box at Compus external Cascade gorge] at 720. Walked to Six Mile creek gorge and in the gorge at 525 elevation on N side of stream just above newly found quarry found the two following described dikes. a Dark finish gray hard 4" thick, direction N by 40 west. b Ten paces east of a same appearing rock but surface weathered to depth of 1". The weathered clay is redish but side but becomes greenish near solid interior after dikes is I with direction N by 40 west (magnetic). Several joints plane were measured near these dikes and found to be practically the same as above dikes at N by 20 West. The above dikes are at a point on the map N by 23W [inadable?] the extrem east end of D A M switch. I failed to find these dikes on the south side of Valcagn. The rock is partly covered to wait at a point where the dikes ought to obem.
