into the fissure I found the clay seams of greenest grey color and after digging more than 1/2 I found the solid marlbed clay to be a dark brick color of earth all same composition as the dry clay which occurs in Elmwood Creek about 3/4 mile N. The adjoining shale at bottom is into greenish gray parallel to the clay, and from 1/2" to 1 foot Senoa 30. In the first row N. 1. Glowing of the Smashed. Side of Lake Senoia. Lake level 376' 4" a Lowed. & Seneca sh (black fire) 95' X E Dark bluish rather coarse shly 20 (Corbin, Corvallis) D Black sh & with 10" 20. bds 2" thick becoming black gray about 10" from C. e Covered by massive fragmen fudge D3B 1 In the middle of the stream at Bar 30 so far offing to a bed marlbed clay, & the surface is reddish light gray, digging it up found right a red color and very hard. It is a set of coarse gravel large angular pieces of rock from the side of a pea up to three or four inches in diameter. It all goes to connect to the country rock and the cracks some of them or filled with the clay. The clay of about 15" off & C, while the eastern half coming up to shale on the north side the top that is over Card with drift soil while the stream helps it clear. 6. On the N and S points, which are very narrow in fact the rock has a decided black appearance. Years gone as three or four thin beds of shales which are traceable across themselves under the water. There are about 80 feet down stream from the clay @ C. Bar 725' August 31-1964. In this last well, I as found at about 153' but will make plus 3424. Main & has been finished all materials for return before they had to turn. A three inch man was tapped with 1/8" and 60d. & full line it would flow it all out and the gas could be heard all over Hoffling. Pressure about 150-160 lbs.
