Dyke C This dyke is similar to c in
that it seems to be a lateral dyke.
It is broken off breadth at lower part
or same height with base of and
about 2i feet vertical east of "
At lower part this dyke is about"
thick but gets thicker higher up
in the cliff while it reaches a thickness
of about 40"
Below is a sketch of dykes as they appear
in the vertical cliff.
Vertical distance 35'
Horizontal distance 12'
Genoa? L (La Patagia?)
In second branch on east side of
Salmon creek at 650 elevation are al
number of small dykes. Their general
direction is N.40Wd S.60E.
Dyke A This is a small dyke the pointed west
edge of which on south side starts from
80' and reaches to the base " in the
" exposure beyond which it is ground
" B This dyke starts from about
1' east of 9" and about 30' south.
starting at A. Extends N. under the
water of stream reaching a little
on and back on this form.
" L This dyke at west edge is 3" thick
is 15' east of B and breaks off under
middle of stream but extends 5'
and goes under covered.
( A ) This dyke is 5" thick and extends to
middle of stream and then the corner to southly
stream about 10' exposure. It is 5 1/2'
east of L.
" C This dyke is 6" wide with a 3/4" shale
band dividing it in middle the oh
horizon forming one edge of water but
starts to S. A 15' from north N. is good
exposure and is 3 1/2' east of A. North of B in
middle of stream.
" D This is a thin dyke the thick part on
west edge) 7/8' and peaks out in
either direction to S. end making an
all about a 7 exposure, Mid4' 4"
east of C.
" G As a very thin one 1/2' thick at Sand
I found it ran up to 3 feet within 7'.
" H Is a little one beyond A 1' long & Thick
exposure as I could not tag it. Located
from g below.
