1987 M. Stanback M. Formicivorus Knoll (Pump) HNHR 17 Aug 0800 Low intensity Power Struggle still going on here (see recent notes by R. Mumme) NOBA 9, and H-B 88 (I think) There are @ 5 birds active here, with the active area defined by Knoll - Pump - Gate Field ravine. Chases, garricks, drum- ming. 23 Aug am...there's still weirdness going on here. See Maria. 27 Aug 0815-0845 Still weirdness. At least 2 NOBA 99, at least 1 NOBA 88, 88 1301 + 1303, and 9 1350 From Y are all involved in chases here. These birds cover the whole area between the pond and Walt's back yard, though concentrating on the Knoll granary and Y's 1st nest (87) sycamore. The Y 9 is friendly w a H-B 88. 28 Aug There's an assortment of NOBA + banded birds (seem to be 88) hanging out at Pump. 1 Sept 0800 88 flew From Two Towers to Knoll (banded) * Group Update: According to the new Field List, the 88 here are 1301 + 1303, the 99 are 2 NOBAs. The NOBA 88 here have been ignored, and the Y 9 1350 who was involved with Knoll is considered back at Y. 17 Sept 1015 There are birds here, but are they Knoll or Pump? 18 Sept 0730 Weirdness. In Knoll-Y sycamore I saw 9 1350 with 88 1301 + 1303. In the Knoll granary were NOBA 99, a NOBA baby, and juv 1428 From Y. All birds
