2 Aug 1500 Nest empty.
7 Aug Ron reports some weirdness here. It seems 11-B birds
may be trying to set up shop on the Knoll. HB birds:
1301, 1303 were with Y 9 1350. Ah ha! so....
1350 is not back to join Y, she's back to set up
Knoll (she's probly the Ref 1 bird). Ron says a
similar thing happened in 1981.
15 Aug Refilled Feeder (also Filled it 2 Aug) "Heard birds
at Knoll r at MacR as well as at Y proper.
17 Aug 0800 675, 1350 seen (also MTR)(?wh?) Oh, scrub
jays have learned how to operate dog Food Feeder.
Garricks, etc still heard on knoll. See Knoll-Pump notes
22 Aug 1330 Stopped by to watch them eat dog Food, when I
saw a bird go to the hole. Then again. Checked
hole... Nest #3 !! 6 fresh warm eggs.
27 Aug 9 1350 is still associating w H-B 88 at Knoll.
