1987 M. Stanback M. Formicivorus Forsaken Ridge HCHR 14 April 0630 Mouse nest in hole cleaned out (Keith reports activity here) 26 April 1430 Empty - not looking used. 13 April Keith reports bird in a hole above box 340! 15 May 1430 A NOBA 7 Flushes from the top of the 3 holes. I hear kids. I misjudge the delicacy of the door area and the door splits. Jassy rig + DAP will do til tomorrow. Anyway, so I open it and it contains 3 Freshly hatched (today) chicks + their egg shells + 1 unhatched egg. So much for an aviary switch! I of course left weighing gear, so no day 0 wt. Keith reports another Acw nest near box 344. 16 May Bird in hole on arrival, so they don't mind the cut out. (It was a banded 8) Keith showed me the other active hole further uphill. It was empty but in good shape (Fresh chips) Back to FRSR to weigh kids 1330 RL = 8.98 LL = 8.99 RW = 9.05 LW = 5.05 whoops, thats 7.98 7.99 8.05 4.05 17 May 1515 RL = 12.7 RW = 13.8 LL = 12.1 3.59 ♂ WR seen (not sure of bands, but something like that runt gone 18 May 1330 RL = 14.9 RW = 15.1 LL = 16.1 19 May 1500 19.2 18.7 19.5 20 May 1320 22.2 23.3 24.6 22 May 0930 29.9 32.3 32.7 ↓ 24 May 1400 Added last baby to aviary. ↓ 46.2
