I climbed up and got her out. Her head and left wing were stuck inside the hole and her whole body was upside down. It was a hole in a very small diameter limb. I imagine she went in, tried to turn around, panicked, tried to back out, got her wing stuck and died a slow agonizing death. I hope no other bird was stuck in the hole with her (I didn't have the pooper. Her 6th 10 was 120 mm, TC = 31, TN = 23.8, tail = 78.5. Metal = 902-42916. Holy Cow! That's the breeder 9! She looks like she's been dead for about a week. Hence dead baby?? Has there been a power struggle? Is this why BOKK 99; were clumpy? More bad news - the baby's been predated. I think it was mammalian, 'cause there were some (bloody) feathers w maggots on em. Geez, a day for death. (17.7) 14 July 0815 NSS ht 615, cN4 61, ang 58 f.h. Point is: she could have been dead much longer than 1 week when I Found her on 21 June (Cyndy saw her Feecd on ___.)
