1987 M. Stanback M. Formicivorus UAZ H N H R 16 sept 0815 Pretty sure I saw ♂ 1378 (NO mcb) Helloed holes. Nothing. 23 Sept 0836-0900 Watched 87a hole. Nothing. Also heloed holes near granary. * * Group Update * Helper ♂♂ 1140, 1222, 1225, 1340, 1026 (presumably), 1027, and ♂ 1380 (♂) are at A1 as of 870810 ±1 week. ♂ 1378 was seen at UAZ, :: probably a 9. ♂ 1226 hasn't been seen since 870429 - probably dead, but let's not be hasty. 5 Oct 1040 Helloed holes - nothing. In contrast to several other groups, UAZ has next to no acorns stored 8 Nov 0900-1045 Watched dead granary. No action for 2 hr. Eventually saw 1378 (a 9), 1379 or 1380 (both ♂), and ♂ 681. 1379 has a bad L wing (it droops out to the side when he sits) I saw these kids repeatedly. 1379 is especially stupid - he repeatedly dropped acorns into a crevice-hole, only to have them fall out the bottom - usually w/a couple other acorns as well. 5 Jan 1988 100 Acorn Count: Dead gran: 6000 too high limb under dead gran : 400 live gran : 1800 deal limb in east tree : 400 total 8600 ~ 7600
