27 Mar Katy reports "no" acorns left. I find this hard
to swallow. They have, however, probably been
reduced to deeply stored ones.
1 April 0730 Saw 1309? (MK?) and a NOBA
6 April Acorn count 220 in log. Did I see a bird
flush from the area of the 86 nest.
20 April 1330-1400 Watched, saw no one.
5 May 0945 Still not sure whether the nest at ARW might
not be Lamb's. I climbed the 2 holes that are
cut open in the 86 tree (low empty, high w mice)
There was also an empty but rather nice uncut
hole I examined (The reason I climbed these holes
is that I saw a bird flush suspiciously from
this tree.
