Returned later - bird still there - didn't want to flush. Hole empty but looking ready - and deep - can't reach bottom - and thick - I sawed only one side of a new door. 7 April 1415 very stubborn bird in hole. No eggs. Made the 2nd of 3 cuts. 8 April Finished cutting the door, but alas, now I fear they're no longer sold on this hole. Today a bird seemed to flush from the back of the tree. Yesterday too. 9 April 1030 Climbed. Empty. I fear the worst! 10 April 1215 Bird in hole on arrival! Yea! Nest still empty though. Can I trust the peeper - its deep! 11 April 1230 No eggs 12 April 1430 It's about time! 1st egg! Labeled #1. Bird in hole. 13 April 1600 2nd egg! #2 wt. 5.42. Well, I blew it on the First egg - I was going to weigh it 2day, but it had a big shit glob stuck to it. Shoulda done it yesterday. 14 April 1400 Egg #3 weighed 5.89. Added Plge egg.
