26 May aw helloed > hole. Nothing

29 May 0745 Watched hole a bit, helloed. Nothing. Heaved garricks,
checked out main quan + something's up, though I'm not sure
what. Garricks, chases, mate guarding, at least 5
birds, (one being unbanded ♀) Is it all just very
intense mate guarding?
22 Aug 1500 Watched here awhile - saw NOBA ♀, maybe a
NOBA ♂, 1313, and 1312. They are using both
Gate and W Gate, though mostly the latter. They
disappear into Sg. Nail Flt. Watched SNF awhile. Nada.
1530 There's a bunch of birds hanging out
S of the lane and E of Martia road. They
range up the hill quite a ways. Are they spill-
over from the R1 weirdness. Some are chasing
g/o enthusiastically.
There are at least 3 birds in a "territory" between
Pipe & Gate.
24 Aug 1335 - 1415 Census: 1108, 1106, 1097. During
this time I twice saw birds at the 86 Gate hole.
6 Sept People report lotsa activity here.
9 Sept 0815 Well, well. Confusion certainly reigns... Gate and
W Gate have split (and there may be a 3rd group
down by the telepole in front of the A frame) Gate
consists of ≥1 NOBA ♂, ≥1 NOBA ♀. They are nesting
