Empty but nice shape (Katy rep. birds at hole) 16 April 0630-0730 Cyndy reports no interest in hole. 17 April 0830 Climb. Empty. Too risky a climb to do for nothing. There's incredible amounts of live oak pollen today here 21 April 1630-1700. Watched for interest in hole. None. No mate guarding either. 22 April 1500-1515 watched. Nothing. 23 April 1630 Found nest. Shit. Should have known. It's in the big snaggy sycamore. High r Far out. Shit. 24 April 1100 bird in hole. put up rope, chickened out. 25 April 1600 In an incredible show of daring, Walt climbs the hole, cuts the door, and Finds 5 eggs - incubated for several days. 6 May 1700 Yes, I climbed the hole.
