31 Aug 1400 Saw 9 945 LB/W-L. Then I saw my old
nemesis 9 BON/M (1170) Perfect view. Then she +
two other birds left CVI flew together to
the windmill. Then one of them flew back
towards CVI (but on the Hastings side of the
ditch to chase a scrub jay. What's up?!)
Then the other 3 followed that bird.
10 Sept 1700 Suspicious flushing from near weird sycamore hole.
* Group Update: 8 1089 and 9 945 present. 87083
9 945 has allowed her sister 1170 to join her,
and it seems 8 967 is still attempting duel
status at Murf + CVI.
13 Sept 1130-1230 Nancy P. watched the sycamore hole for
activity. None. Just busy gathering acorns. She
saw 8 1089 and 9 945
15 Sept 1700 Saw 5 birds here !?!
21 Sept 0810-0835 Watched for nestiness. I think they're
just into acorns (though maybe mate gravolin - they
always seemed to fly off together) There are
4 birds here. I saw 8 967 and 9 945 (I
assume the other 2 are 1089 + 1170.
30 Sept 0800-0810. No interest in sycamore hole.
9 Oct 1630 Saw 1089, and maybe another 8 8. Think I saw
F 945 at waterhole. Saw J 4 at water. Weirdness.
10 Oct 0800-0915 Saw 1089, 945, 1170, and a 4th bird.
20 Oct 1450 Saw 1089, 945, 967, and a 4th bird. Thus
967 is an integral part of the group.
