7 Jan 1415 Acorn Count: BISON Ivy tree 86b = 44
lean log tree 86a = 40.
Total = 84
Actual total may be less as most of the "acorns"
seen were broken open shells w unk contents.
Important note! Upon arrival an ACW flew
From Murf to CVI. A little later a
bird From Murf flew to Blm 3 ! I suspect
Murf has gone extinct, CVI has taken over, and
the CVI birds are wafting. Just a theory.
11 Jan 1500 So much for my theory. Saw ♂ 967,
and (♂) 1338. No sign of a female.
2 Feb 1200. I think I saw 1089 (saw ♂ w DB, W on left) at CVI
but I also saw another ♂ 967 From Murf at CVI's
granary. I also saw 4 birds up on Murf Knoll.
There was also some chasing. What's up here? I
severed all the poison oak vines at the base of
the 86b nest tree. Maybe that will free up some
holes.
3 Feb 1530 Saw 1338 and a couple other birds. Didn't
seem to be hanging out at CVI
25 Feb 0930 Saw ♂ Y BK'BL who is this
(♂ 967) involved in a chase. These guys are
hanging out in the big valley oak at the top of the knoll.
Hotsa starlings (v bluebirds) here. (♂ 966) 967 was also
at CVI, sitting peacefully w CVI ♂ and an N01D ♂ who
followed 967 back to Murf.
