26 Mar 0645 Arrive to Find a sudden blid (one of the good ones!) crumpled on the ground. Damn it Katy — that makes Blm 1, Gazebo, SHW, and here! Oh yes, the 85 86 nest hole has globs of what looks like ACW Feathers all around the entrance — as if someone were nailed there. Pretty worthless. 0645-0900 and only one fly by.
30 Mar 0715 See a NOBA 9 on arrival. Shit. Then see 1003. 0900 Small chase (?) between 665 and a 9. 0930, I quit.
31 Mar Walt told me of a hole facing uphill on the steep part, to the SE of the gran. 4 birds went in.
1 April They didn't like the ambush. Shit. Try pole next time.
17 April 0620-0645 Watched from Plan. No mate guarding. 2 short chases. 3 birds just sat quietly apart in granary.
