28 Aug 0900 85 hole with beginnings of a mouse nest. I cleaned it out. Otherwise in good shape.
18 Sept 1545 The 85 hole looks good - with chips. The high hole in the granary is still incomplete. There's a new good looking hole in the sycamore.
4 Oct 1630 Checked hole - empty - but looking good. 2 birds flushed from tree. Lotsa acorns stored.
9 Oct 0730 Checked hole - empty. Leaned a storage log up against the granary tree - there are acorns stored in another small piece on the ground. Amazing. 0745-0900 Waited in blind for birds. Heard - didn't see.
9 Nov Roost watch - dead as a hammer.
