1937. 67 Jan 2. Received buds of plants from Hawker (mostly from Nova Scotia). Epilobium: E. glandulosum var adenocaulon, a northern species, ex- tending to Lapland (a single collection at Brooklyn), differentiated from E. coloratum by light pedipos and in general by condensed, some glaucous leaves and more glabrous appearance. May 19. To Valley Stream with Miss Rusk. Arumthium between highway and r.r. opposite flying field. The only other thing of interest was Carex scorea, which grows with C. debilis, C. Emmonsii (C. varia), and C. folliculata.
