Identified Underwood's Tennessee material: Potamogeton epiphyllus var. Nuttallii from N.C., previously known from that region; P. diversifolius, not previously known from the Cumberland or East Tennessee; Solideps Brevi (the southern representative of S. juncea); S. strita (The southern contracted phase of E. speciosa).
