The backdrop is made of [illegible] Transparencies of woodland set at various depths & painted green & yellow by hand. It was so arrested by technique that it force that I did not much notice the saw deer in the foreground. A walkway through a swamp does not looks so its mixture of real & artificial plants and putty stuffed animals (all dirty), running water & some live animals Community, reproduction, prey cycles are all in this exhibit. Off to one side is a library type room where visitors can get questionnaires which are then graded by a Monitor. Not actually graded but rather visitor is consulted when he has difficulties. Also there are popular books on the field scientific of plants, birds, animals, shell fossils & fossils of Denmark. Thin cases of purely systematic collections Birds, mounted plants in purely systematic arrangement. Finally a language lab-type room where visitors can hear bird & animal sounds on tape & silent them but this was closed due to vandalism.
