7 June 0830 Began searching for nest. I checked the tree under which I was sitting the evening of 5 June to watch roosting in dead starling nest. At that time I heard a woodpecker of unk. sp. roosting (?) in the tree. There were a couple of likely holes, but no birds responded to "hello" today. These trees are up from the fence between the granary and the dead starling nest. The birds are spending time in these trees + the granary. No bird in dead starling hole.
