"Census" Saw 942, 1103. I played the power struggle tape for about 5 sec. Immediately, 2 birds appeared at the old nest (in the knothole). One bird looked inside before flying off. I watched the hole for a while, but no action. I later climbed the tree, but couldn't reach the bottom of the hole. Keep an eye on this group. They are due for another nest 21 Aug 1300. No response to hello from Knot-hole or any other hole. This group has some acorns still stored from last year.
