Weight 73.8, wing 145. 0700 Caught 8 768 Weight 90g, wing 149 10 #6 coming in on Left 10 #5 " right 10% of crown molting new down on abd upper tail coverts molting rectrices: 2 pair molting outer primaries old cloacal protuberance very large, red (moist?) 0730 an unidentified baby was still in the hole when I quit. 18 Aug W.D. Koenig reports 4 eggs (not new) in all active nest (the lower of the two opened holes in the tree near (NW) the granary) 21 Aug 1330 4 eggs still in nest. A bird was in the nest upon my arrival. This group has some - a lot of acorns still stored from last year.
