1985 Mark Stanlock M. formicivora BLM 1 KUHR (19 June) fighting taking place here about 0730 when these 5 birds were present. Only one bird was being attacked-chased. A little later a bird was seen flying back to BLM 1 (this was before q68(3) was identified). The birds were mostly using the big tree just to the BLM 1 side of the main BLM 2 tree. When there were birds at BLM 2, I noticed that there was no activity at BLM 1 (and vice versa) This makes me believe that the birds at BLM 2 were BLM 1 birds. When there were birds seen at BLM 2, I noticed 1 & 2 qq. 0745 2 qq and a 3 were showing interest in the nest hole. One 9 was hesitant to go in, and checked the Dap on top: I couldn't identify the birds because I was observing from BLM 2. No bird seemed to stay in more than 5 min. Lots of going in & out. Could it be that I missed such activity yesterday, since I stopped watching at 0730
