1985 Mark Stanback M. formicivorus BLM 1 Glastings Reservation 6 June 0500 checked nest. 6 eggs. Flushed bird from nearby tree upon arrival 0515-0815 watched nest from nearby blind. Not only did no ff come to lay; no birds came to tree at all. 1015 now sitting near pond. Maybe the birds won't be so shy now. But no birds seen 1030 2 ff seen flycatching in granary (812 + ?) 1100 809 1B. 1125 birds would flycatch for a while, then disappear. I don't know where to, but I didn't see any birds leave the granary 1126 hear 3 birds. 1 from trees near granary to SE. One bird is a banded ♂ 1145 no bird in or near nest. Checked granary holes 7 June 0450-0550 watched nest from blind. No birds entered tree. Heard birds in granary and in tree near granary 1300 checked nest. 6 eggs. Also waited near granary to see if birds were interested in any other holes, but the birds didn't show. 10 June 0740 2 birds seen entering what seemed to be incomplete nest hole. No more visits for next half hour
