4 June 1800 4 eggs in nest
13 June 1545 3 babies - about 2+ days old. One is big, another rather smaller, and a third is a dehydrated very small runt. I removed the runt for experiments
15 June Runt dead. (even though he was beginning to deticate)
1 July Banded 2 babies (banded 3 at R1 today)
25 July roost: Katy reports roosting in the west hole, but that maybe the new 49's aren't quite settled, as some drumming was heard prior to roosting.
26 July 0915 There seems to be adequate qnts of stored acorns in some parts of the granary (hmm, would addition of some more do anything - like cause a new nest?)
