1986 M. Stanback M. formicinorma CVKW (Knoll West) or Cvette HNHR 8 April 1200 Decided to & what these guys were up to from where I was sitting at CVI. There are 4-5 birds here that I saw. I saw a bird go in a hole, so I walked up to check it out. There are two close by so I now don't know which one it is. While up there I saw one NOBA 9 and a 4 w BY(N) / RO(N) on left and O on right K0(N) [illegible] 1163 from BLM 1 RO(N)/RO(N) 7 April 0920-1000 chases, garricks, drumming, but doesn't seem to intense. 4 w Y on left. A 8 and 9 were seen mounting - both birds had red feathers (a lot) on their chests (on the black) 1200 Black Shouldered Kite in Egranary 10 April 0730 still lots noise up there 20 April 1030 all quiet up at CVKW; I went down toward the Valley end of the knoll where it dumps into a little glade. There's a pie nest by the dry pond w the wash tub by the tree. There's a granary tree up the knoll a little way. There are 3 ACW's there. They showed some
