Flushed ? birds out of the old CVL nest (where limb is [illegible]) No baby noises heard (either in hole or fledged) There seem to be 3 birds here, including a ? w Metal on left and a ? with [illegible]. One of the birds flew toward Blm 3. The hole that I flushed them from has a rotted out hole in the bottom, but I don't know if it reaches the nest chamber. Plenty of stored acorns. 29 July Plugged hole in nest. Saw no stored acorns.
