1986 M. Stanback M. Formicivorus BLM 1 HCHR 1 May 1715-1745 Watched From ref 1. Starlings in hole where we ambushed last time (where helper # was working last year. 3 May watched For nest 1 hr - no luck 29 May 1030-1330 Egg toss-incub watch. See notes 3 July 0900 Saw 5 birds (2 [at least] of which were babies) too near BLM 1 (see map below) 01030 After chasing these ghosts around I Finally saw an unbanded # and a banded baby (#1317) These are Pipeline birds! They seem to be a stable Fixture up here (at least this morning) WOW 29 July 1600 Standing at Laguna Cancjo, I hear birds at BLM 1 on top of Far Knoll, and immediately to the CV side of Far Knoll. I checked trem out (mpitographs suck!). and they seem to be BLM 3 birds hanging out on the CV side of the knoll. 6 birds! One was baby 12.61; one by (Fuck rapidographs) one they Flew back to BLM 3. 24 Sept There were a couple birds on top of Far Knoll. BLM 3? 10 Dec 1345-1645. Census. Saw 2 88, one of which was 809. I saw 2 helper 88 (1167 x 1358) These were the only birds I saw and I feel pretty sure that these are the only birds here (no Br 88!!) P.S. A banded # flew from the lone trees on the way up to BLM 1 down to the pump.
