1986 M. Stanback M. Formicivorus 1500 HNHR 20 April 1700: 2 no10 birds were in one of the 2 blue trees along the Fire road in central canyon. I thought they might be BLM ( or Refute (, but they flew off and I followed one of them 30 April 9 May 0830 Sue weighed babies & marked them. Left wing 28.5 right wing 32.0 12 May 1300 See PLAQ notes. The PLAQ runt was put into 1500 nest w/o a band. The larger 1500 baby was taken for PLAQ's nest and banded Y-L Pink on right. The smaller 1500 baby was banded w' L. Blue on right and left in 1500's nest. Lots of dead bees in this nest. 1500 big baby (same as 9 May) 48.6 small baby LB 44.3 1600 these babies were fed, then put in PLQE nest see PLQE notes from now on for into on these babies. 1500 There were honeybees going in - out of this hole all the while I was hanging there. 15 May 1600 Climbed. The runt from WA2 is doing fine in here. Don't seem to be any new bees. 20 May 1500 Removed the LA2 runt. He thinks he wants to Fledge Added Macflat babies after feeding RB 27.5 NOBA 19.8
