(8 Dec) is over at the 'new' granary (henceforth called
"Y-not"
9 Dec 1645. A 9 seen at bavn locust. Bands were
[illegible] 9. W-B/m [1149] - From Plge. Another
W-B/O
ACW was heard in sycamores toward Ynot. It's
its getting dark. These guys must like it here.
10 Dec 1100 heard birds at Y-not.
1320 (N Popkin) - 1500. It seems to be Plge
♂♂ helpers vs the Y 9 here. They attack her
repeatedly. She was noisy (wakas, karrit-cats,
and even garricks!) Before Nancy started I (us)
saw a ♂ store an acorn from Y-not in a
nearby sycamore. Nancy reports helper ♂♂'s
taking acorns back to Plge. Shit, don't they
Know she's hot-to-trot? Bird 1150 was especially
mean to her. Birds seen: 9 675, ♂ 1150, ♂ 1069,
♂ 721 (hey! a breeder!). He was only rarely
seen though. One mystery bird LP-W/LB-Y.
1700 Birds still here as I pass
P.S. Nancy reports 9 675 working on a roost
hole in an OAK beside the Y-not granary.
14 Dec All acorns gone From Y-not. Assume Y has O acorns
1700 Bird sitting alone at Locust. Presume Y 9.
