1985 Mark Stanback M. formicivorus Mac Flat HVHR 35 June 0630(?) checked old best hole for new nest. Nope. A bird yelled at me from a snag up on the hill (E side); I went up to check, but saw no good holes etc. 28 June 1430-1450 looked unsuccessfully for 2nd nest. 29 June 1630-1800 Looked for 2nd nest from vantage point on Arnold Hill to west. No luck. Did see baby in knot "hole" in string tree where they like to sit. 30 June 1700 % bird in knot hole. Bird seen in tree (live oak) up + to right of first nest Aug 17 Checked previous nest hole and 2 on other side of road for "fall" nest, No luck
